
The Old Rectory
The Old Rectory is a historic building in the heart of Houghton-le-Spring providing a space for community groups and social entrepreneurs to work together to create a vibrant hub and co-working space.
What’s been happening:
The Old Rectory has been working to involve the young people in Houghton in music activities. Their older youth group has developed and programmed a youth music festival in February 2025, which saw local young musicians perform. The group also took part in DJing and rap workshops learned more about the music industry.
