My Seafront, My Roots
Taking inspiration from letters written by the good folk of South Tyneside, Tim Burke and Austin Gunn have created a beautiful collage of sound and music.
Featuring narration, telephone singing, choral singing, and featuring an operatic tenor (Austin Gunn), and sounds commonly heard in the area against a musical backdrop (created by Tim Burke), the piece tells a story of South Tyneside from within.
Iam Burn has created a visual piece to compliment the audio collage to create an immersive sound and visual experience.
