Grindon Church Community Project is proud to be part of A Space to Create

Grindon Church Community Project

Grindon Church Community Project is a church for all, as well as a busy Community Centre, working with the community in a wide variety of ways. The centre programmes a range of community-led activities including gardening clubs, arts and crafts cubs, and exercise classes.

What’s been happening:

Grindon Church Community Centre has been looking to involve more members of the community in their arts and creativity sessions. They commissioned artist Lindsey Grieves to create installations for their community garden to form an art trail. Lindsey worked with their men's and ladies’ group to create the artworks. They held community help out days which invited volunteers to help prepare the garden and install the artwork.
